An experienced daily Housekeeper with very high standards required for a large country estate. You will report to the house manager and must be self-motivated and organised.

Salary: £19,000 gross per annum.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-3.30pm (1/2 hr break) plus some wkend/eves (time off in lieu).
Days off: Weekends.

Housekeeping duties to include: Cleaning, tidying, polish silver and antiques, change beds, laundry including hand & machine ironing, sewing. Food preparation, baking and cooking plus clearing up after meals. Monitor supplies/prepare shopping lists. Assist with dogs. Supervise contractors.

An enthusiastic, hard-working, trustworthy and loyal person required who has common sense and initiative. Need to be a team player, able to take direction and have the ability to priorities workload. Must have very high standards of cleaning including silver and antique care.

Must be a driver with own car, you need to like animals and be flexible regarding working weekends if required.

Good English required. Non-smoking work environment. Experience from working as a Housekeeper in a domestic household essential – you must have checkable, relevant references from a previous employer.
